Photosound is an independent photographic retailer with surprisingly high stock levels (including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Opticron, Epson and Lowepro) and an even higher level of staff expertise.
We have had a shop on our local high street since the 1970s and we plan to stay there! We know how to use all of the cameras, printers and binoculars that we sell and we enjoy passing on that knowledge to our customers.
We do sell fancy cameras with big lenses BUT we also sell simple point and shoot digital compacts. Don’t be frightened by digital cameras – we will show you which buttons to press and where to put the batteries.
Remember, we don’t just sell you a box and expect you to get on with it. You can come back and ask us questions whenever you like (well, perhaps not at 3 o’clock in the morning but you know what we mean).
Plus, our prices are always competitive. We have been in business a long time and we know how to offer value for money.
In other words, we are a proper camera shop.
In addition, we are part of the Kodak Express network. This means that you get the best of both worlds when you order prints and picture gifts – your order is handled by an experienced individual whilst being backed up by the worldwide Kodak brand.
Our shop is open Monday to Saturday 9am-5.30pm and we will be happy to spend time with you demonstrating products and discussing your requirements.
